Every desk in this category is quiet, sturdy and easy to assemble according to its own box, and none of that helps anyone decide between a 48 inch top and a 55 inch one. So this catalogue leads with numbers: the top size, the height range, the load rating, the screen diagonal, the weight per arm, the bolt pattern. Where a figure is not published, that is said rather than filled in with something plausible.

Each product page carries two blocks that most catalogues leave out. One describes what assembly or installation actually involves, because with furniture that is half the experience of owning it. The other lists what to check before ordering, and it is deliberately unflattering: a bolt pattern that fits only half the monitors on the market, a children's desk that will not grow with a teenager, a frame that arrives without the desktop people assume is in the box.

What height should a standing desk be?
For most people the standing height is close to the height of your elbows with your shoulders relaxed, and the seated height is roughly two thirds of that. Rather than guess, the calculator on this page turns your height into both figures and tells you which models in this catalogue cover them.
Is one motor or two the right choice?
A single motor is rated to 176 pounds here and lifts a normal desk and equipment without complaint. Two motors buy speed, a 264 pound rating and a steadier top when a wide, heavy desktop is fully extended. In this range dual motors appear only on the bare frames.
Will a monitor arm clamp to these desks?
Yes. Every desktop in this catalogue is within the clamp range of the mounts in it, and the drawer models keep the back edge clear. If your desk is glass or you would rather not clamp anything, two of the mounts are free-standing stands that need no fixing at all.
Does anything here need more than one person to build?
The desks are easier with two people for the single step of turning the assembled desk the right way up, and possible alone if you build it upside down on the floor and lift one end at a time. The mounts, the chairs and the footrest are one-person jobs throughout.
